Originally from Orange County, California, Dan is a global citizen and a business leader who has embraced Asia as his home for over 17 years, living in China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. With a distinguished career covering over two decades of experience in real estate, property development, sales and marketing, hospitality, IT, and finance, his global experience enriches his role as the Founder of ZIQUR.

Dan’s real estate background includes his role as the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at NuoBello, a consultancy firm that offers turn-key development services, Head of Worldwide Property for Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and its subsidiary Laguna Resorts & Hotels, and as a California Real Estate Broker and Developer with a large Mortgage division at his previous brokerage, DSS Real Estate.

Having led and managed high-profile real estate projects in multiple countries for companies such as Banyan Tree, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Laguna, Sofitel, and Westin, Dan has achieved record sales and won the Best Developer Award by the South East Asia Property Awards. He also held a Certified Finance Lenders license by the State of California in addition to the Real Estate Broker license.

An early pioneer in internet startups, Dan was part of the original management team at GoToMeeting, a revolutionary remote desktop technology company that was acquired by Citrix Online. His technical expertise extends to IT and website development, with a background in managing global tech support centers for Hewlett Packard and CompuServe. Dan’s entrepreneurial spirit is exemplified by his successful ventures, including founding The Fermented Grape, one of California’s first wine boutiques.

Starting ZIQUR is something that brings him excitement and personal satisfaction, as it started as an idea that has turned into a commercially viable project that he knows can benefit many others and improve their lives, including his own boys, neighbors, friends and the general population.
